Hi everyone! I'm back! So this week's theme is tropical, so I made a cute and easy tropical nail
manicure.
Polish used:
Base Coat- Sally Hansen
White- Kleancolor
Mellow Yellow- Sally Hansen
Sun Kissed- Sally Hansen
Razz-berry- Sally Hansen
Black Nail Art striper- Kiss
Top of the Line clear coat- Loreal
Start off with a layer of base coat, and then painting your nails two coats of white. Next, paint one stroke of yellow on a make up sponge. Then on top paint a stripe of orange, and on top of the orange paint a stripe of pink. Then, lightly dab the sponge on one of your nails until there is not white showing. Repeat for all nails. Make sure all the colors are shown, some nails are smaller than others so make the stripes bigger and smaller accordingly.
Once you are satisfied with the colors, take a black striper and draw a wavy line at the moon of your nail to form the island. I made my islands seem to be one continuous island but its your choice what shape you want it to be. After that, you make a slightly curved line coming up from each island forming the trunk of the tree. I made mine coming from the corners curving inward. Then draw about five leaves on each trunk. Press the brush down, and then curve it inward putting less pressure on it and you curve more. Add a few birds by making an "m" with the striper towards the top of the nail. Finally, use polish remover on a q-tip and remove the polish on your skin, and add a top coat. Thats it! This manicure can be done in approximately 15-20 minutes. It is very easy and looks great!
